Upon arrival, Nijmegen greeted me with a sense of beauty and charm. As I explored the city, sculptures adorned every corner, revealing the Dutch people’s deep appreciation for art and creativity.

Seeing these windmills reminds me of the small town of Manjil in Iran, a place renowned for its winds.

This photograph captures a serene summer sunset during an evening stroll in the heart of Nijmegen. Unlike my hometown of Tehran, where days are shorter, the sun here lingers, creating a prolonged and enchanting twilight.

This bridge evokes memories of an old bridge in Babolsar, a northern Iranian city that closely resembles Nijmegen. It is my husband’s hometown, a place I deeply cherish.
